NSIA's Events and Activities
At the North Shore Islamic Association (NSIA), our events are thoughtfully organized to foster a strong, supportive Muslim community through education, fun, and meaningful engagement. Here’s a breakdown of how we structure our events and the guiding principles behind them:

Dawah Events
Purpose: These events focus on spreading Islamic teachings and inviting others to learn about Islam.
Content: Lectures, seminars, and discussions led by knowledgeable speakers, aiming to deepen understanding and faith.
Examples: lectures, Quran halaqas.

FITA (Fun Islamic Themed Activities)
Purpose: Combining fun with learning, these activities are designed to engage participants in a lively, enjoyable manner while instilling Islamic values.
Content: Games, arts and crafts, sports, and other interactive sessions, all incorporating an Islamic message or theme.
Examples:Family fun days, quiz nights, and Ramadan competitions.

Examples: Ramadan with Quran, Ramadan with Sahaba, Muslim kids holiday program, Fatiha program, Quran competition, self-defense classes.
